Creating Variables

Here's the list of variables that need to be defined along with reasonable values for each. Values can be changed later as desired.

To create variables, click on the 'Data Elements' tab. In the one-line form at the bottom, enter the name of your variable and enter a value in the appropriate field. Click 'Create' when done. Repeat for each variable.


Summary

At this point, data elements have been created for all of the physical I/O that will be used at this point. Variables have also been created to hold all of the values that will be needed to implement the rules that have been designed.

We're ready to go to the next step and define the rules that will control our system.
